Argélia em protesto

Com o país a atravessar a maior vaga de protestos das últimas décadas, contra um 5º mandato de Abdelaziz Bouteflika e por mudanças profundas no regime, o presidente da Argélia anunciou o adiamento das eleições às quais não se recandidatará. O primeiro ministro também apresentou a demissão e o governo anunciou ainda que será organizada uma convenção para escrever um novo texto constitucional, mas sem indicar datas, pelo que os protestantes receberam as promessas com cepticismo e não desmobilizaram.
